Chill: Summer in the City: Aisha Alabbar Gallery, Dubai

Iris Art Advisory and Aisha Alabbar Gallery present Chill: Summer in the City - a group exhibition envisioned as a contemplative break from the summer's intensity through the artistic expression of four emerging artist - Ahmed Emad, Lama Alshenaifi, Safeya Sharif, and Yosra Emamizadeh.

Ahmed Emad, a self-taught Emirati artist with a background in civil engineering, presents large-scale paintings that juxtapose unstable structures and figures in unconventional scenarios. Within these compositions, vibrant yet fading colors envelop central figures, encapsulating the artist's deep introspection.

Lama Alshenaifi, a Saudi artist and creator of "IDONTGIVEABLAH," introduces unfiltered humor through text-based paintings. Her work thoughtfully blurs the line between chaos and balance, employing stone-cold satire to reflect on social trends and practices.

Safeya Sharif, a multidisciplinary Emirati artist, delves into the complexities of the mind and the influence of surreal playful compositions. Her exploration of shifted realities and daydreaming takes the viewer on a  journey within the realms of the mind.

Yosra Emamizadeh, based in Dubai, weaves a devotional and faith-based approach into her still life drawings and paintings. Her work explores the passage of time through the depiction of ripe fruits, emphasizing the importance of cherishing fleeting moments.
