Narratives of Belonging : Al Safa Art & Design Library Dubai
Iris Projects presents Narratives of Belonging, a group exhibition presented by at Al Safa Art and Design Library.
Iris Projects is proud to feature works by several artists we represent in this exhibition, including Roudhah Al Mazrouei, whose work is deeply rooted in cultural memory formation, ecological symbiosis, and archival preservation. Her canvases echo the profound connection between land, language, and resourcefulness. ‘The Climb,’ a still-frame from Al Mazrouei’s short film ‘Mhayer,’ captures a pivotal moment in the protagonist’s journey. The young boy’s ascent symbolizes a search for understanding and connection with the world.
The second ‘Narratives of Belonging’ exhibition showcases works by 23 emerging and established Emirati artists, exploring cultural heritage, traditions, and values.

A Seed Trilogy is a series of interconnected works exploring the profound symbolism of the date seed. Through a visual and spiritual interpretation of its three main components: the endocarp, the embryo, and the sillon, her work encourages contemplation on the significance of often overlooked details in our lives.
