Ammar Al Attar’s Salah series stands among his most significant works, where the artist turns the camera toward himself, examining the act of prayer in Islam. Each frame dissects the ritual’s precise gestures and postures, offering an intimate study of movement, devotion, and repetition.

Extending from his acclaimed ‘Prayer Rooms’ series of photographs that document empty prayer spaces in malls, corporate offices, and construction sites —‘Salah’ introduces a reflective twist. Here, Al Attar explores prayer as both private performance and sacred routine, isolating its choreography to reveal its spiritual and human dimensions.
