Cycle Of Circles, Ammar Al Attar: Manar Abu Dhabi 2025

Manar Abu Dhabi 2025 returned with The Light Compass, a city-wide exhibition featuring over 19 site-specific light installations. Curated by Khai Hori, the event transformed Jubail Island and the oases of Al Ain into an immersive journey of navigation and discovery from November 15 to January 4.

Ammar Al Attar’s Cycle of Circles, was exhibited in Al Ain. The instillations five large lightboxes holds a self-portrait, made as the artist rode a bicycle along a circular path. The act repeats. Movement becomes a performance. Repetition deepens into a meditative state. Body and space enter continuous dialogue.
