Iris Projects in Abu Dhabi is set to present Interoception, a new solo exhibition by Emirati artist Juma Al Haj, opening on June 6. Curated by Shamma Al Mheiri, the exhibition explores the emotional and psychological impact of crisis through abstraction, gesture and text. Developed in response to the missile attacks reported in the UAE in February 2026, the works reflect themes of fear, uncertainty and resilience, transformed into layered paintings and expressive mark-making. On show until August 6 at Iris Projects, MiZa, Abu Dhabi.
