Juma Al Haj at NOMAD, The Hamptons : Summer Pavilion, The Watermill Center, New York
Juma Al Haj (b. 1990, UAE) presents, ‘Systems of Accumulation’ a solo exhibition at the inaugural U.S. edition of NOMAD.
Presented alongside an international selection of galleries, designers, and artists, Al Haj unveiled a series of five paintings that drew inspiration from the portrayal of psychological fields that turn architectural, framing repetition as a behavioural system.
Raised between the UAE and the U.S., Al Haj’s practice investigates emotional residue and psychological accumulation through gestural abstraction and spatial mark-making.
